Most of the people who hit the gym regularly have a common goal, some of them wanna build muscles, and some wanna lose fat but their main aim is just to look good and have the aesthetic body they wanted.

Whenever you’ll see a nice-bodied celebrity (maybe your crush or male crush), you’ll see that their overall physique is very nicely developed, and also they have targeted the muscles which emphasize their aesthetics even more.

And don’t worry because I have researched very well about it, trained it (and even do), got good results, and now sharing about those 5 aesthetic muscles with you.

Here are the 5 muscles which are best for aesthetics to make you look more attractive -

  • Traps
  • Shoulders (Lateral Delts)
  • Pectoralis major (upper chest)
  • Triceps
  • Legs

Though do keep in mind that you need to have a proper workout and perform these 5 aesthetic muscles with a little bit more focus.

Don’t overperform these muscles, and don’t neglect other muscles!

Trapezius

Trapezius muscle also popularly known as traps is one of the favorite muscles to hit as a beginner (including me when I was new) because it is one of the only muscles where we can add on a lot of weight on a bar and perform it with a poor form most of the time.

Also, a lot of beginners think that this muscle is a small muscle that is connected from the base neck to your shoulder only which is completely wrong!

The trapezius is a very big muscle and it starts from your base neck to the shoulders and extends all the way to the middle back.

Once this muscle is performed with nice form and developed, it'll give you a very strong muscular appearance which will be clearly visible to everyone and will also help you in your overall back development.

Some of the best exercises for Trapezius/Traps muscle are-

  • Trap Bar Shrug
  • Cable shrug
  • Farmer Carry/walk
  • Smith Machine Shrug (Front & Back)
  • Deadlifts

Lateral Deltoid/Delts

Lateral delts also known as medieval delts, or shoulder sides in layman’s language; is one of the best muscle to perform to give your body the perfect V-Shape and that muscular aesthetic appearance.

It is the biggest muscle in the shoulder and the only muscle which can’t lift too heavy dumbbells though some people still manage to ego lift and perform it with the wrong form as usual.

It is hard to perform with heavy dumbbells so it is recommended to lift light weights anywhere between 10lbs to 30lbs (5–15kgs) accordingly and focus on proper form and concentric and eccentric motion of the exercise.

The shoulder is a small muscle, and its recovery process is fast so don’t hesitate to train it hard and go till the failure.

Some of the best exercises for Shoulder Lateral/Medieval Delts are -

  • Dumbbell side lateral raises
  • Cable side lateral raises
  • Seated Arnold press
  • Single-hand dumbbell/ cable raises
  • Seated dumbbell side lateral raises

Pectoralis major

Pectoralis major, also known as the upper chest, is one of the best muscles to give your chest a very defined aesthetic look, and there isn’t a lie that most women love a big chest on a men’s body (noo, not what you think lol).

Do focus on good form, concentric and eccentric motion, and your muscle-to-mind connection to feel the muscle and its development.

Some of the best exercises for pectoralis major aka upper chest-

  • Inclined dumbbell press
  • Inclined smith machine bench press
  • Low to high cable flys

Triceps

Tricep, as its name says is made from three heads (lateral, medial, and long head) located at the back of your arms.

A lot of beginners usually focus on biceps more to make their arms look big but this is where they are wrong.

The tricep is the biggest muscle in your arm and properly developing it will obviously make your overall arms look bigger, stronger, and sexier.

It is a small muscle like the shoulders and can be recovered pretty fast, so you can train it hard.

Also instead of lifting heavy weights, try to lift moderate weights and do high rep training with proper form, feel, and intensity for good results.

Some of the best tricep exercises are -

  • Single hand tricep extensions
  • Kickbacks
  • Dips
  • Diamond pushups
  • Close grip benchpress
  • Dumbbell skull crushers
  • Rope/bar pushdowns

Legs

Legs are the most neglected muscle by the newbies and even intermediate lifters (Don’t be that guy please!).

It’s always been my favorite muscle to train till now and no doubt the biggest muscle of your lower body, legs is your lower body!

Legs consist of a lot of muscles but mainly Quads, Hamstrings, Calves, Adductors, etc.

And developing it with proper form and consistent training will surely give you a nice manly aesthetic lower body.

It is a big muscle, so do train it hard with good form, and intensity, and after a session, have a nice rest to recover your muscles. And also give your legs an entire day to train.

Some of the best legs exercises are -

  • Squats
  • Lunges
  • Leg Extensions
  • Hamstrings Curls
  • Romanian Deadlifts
  • Leg press
  • Calve raises
  • Standing calve raises on a smith machine

Final words

These were the 5 muscles with the best exercises you can focus on to build your body aesthetics like a celebrity.

Do keep in your mind that only performing these exercises will give you nice results but don’t neglect other exercises!

Every muscle is important for the overall development of your body. I have told you about these muscles so that you can focus on these aesthetic builder muscles even more.

And for better results, try changing your workout split from traditional bro-split to upper-lower body split, or the split I'm currently following PPL (Push-Pull Legs).

I hope I have delivered something valuable and helpful for you all!

A Clap 👏 would be a lot for me if you liked it :)
